8 of a family killed in Baghlan collision
PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): At least eight people were killed and four others, all chidren, sustained wounds after their vehicle crashed into a truck in the capital of northern Baghlan province on Sunday.
2nd Lt. Sohrab, provincial traffic police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News a corolla model car collided with a Hino truck in Poza Ishan area in the limits 6th municipal district of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital.
The crash killed eight people and injured four others. The dead included three women, three children and two men, all from the same family. The family was en route to attend a wedding ceremony.
Dr. Ainuddin Sayadi, provincial hospital director, said eight dead bodies and four wounded people had been delivered to them from the scene. He said the wounded were all children, and one of them was in critical condition.
